Entrapov sponsors have funded 25 entrepreneurs in the 13 months we have existed. In an effort to better scale for growth, we added a board of directors recently. The board provides advice and exposure to potential sponsors (donors) through their networks. Welcome board members: Cami Wacker, John Ney, Greg Fox, Terry Fredrickson, Ben Christensen, and Derrick Boles! Catfish farming in Ghana is an exciting new business opportunity. A local charity gives entrepreneurs 1,000 fingerling catfish plus the feed if they can build a tarpaulin pond with access to fresh water. One Entrapov grant covers the cost of the pond, fencing, transport and setup costs to enable the farmer to earn about $5,000 USD at the end of 6 months when the fish are grown. Then they repeat the process again and again, permanently lifting them out of poverty! Last month Entrapov sponsors, John & Terry Ward and Ken & Renae Bernt became angel investors in African fish farms.
