Esther’s Fashion and Collection offers quality and affordable clothing for its customers. The business is located at Washington and Nunggua in the Greater-Accra region in Ghana, West Africa. Esther’s fashion and collection primarily sews and sells children’s wear. Creativity is my hallmark. I love my customers because they love what I make for them and they bring another person many times (referrals). I love fashion and always do something new for my customers. Currently I have a school that I sew for and I do all this on a hand sewing machine and home used machine for holes on uniforms. I humbly request for financial support to expand my business. If I am able to get the loan, I will be able to buy the industrial sewing machine, knitting machine and dummy so that it can enhance my work. Because I have customers who want their work to be made express and the school too, to be able to meet the required quantity requested. The new equipment will allow me to nearly double my sales because of reduces labor time and needing to rent time on a knitting machine (serger).

CUSTOMER CARE
Esther’s fashion needs an industrial sewing machine, knitting machine (serger), and a dummy that can help me deliver on time to customer’s needs. Both my customers and my school are my priority. I take very good care of them and make sure that they are always at their services. There are many fashion designers in Washington but my customers choose me because I sew both and reduce the price compared to my competitors, and deliver before the expected day.
MY FUTURE PLANS.
I want to see myself in the next five years to be a well-recognized fashion designer in the local and international market. In addition, I plan to open a fashion school to train the youth who may have interest in fashion to be able to become self-reliant to help cut down unemployment in Ghana. If I am to get the grant to buy the machine and enhance my work, which will help me make more profit. I also look forward to reaching another school that I have already talked about to have that chance of sewing for them too.
I HUMBLY REQUEST FOR A FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO EXPAND MY BUSINESS
If I am able to get the loan, I will be able to buy the industrial sewing machine, knitting machine and dummy so that it can enhance my work. Because I have customers who want their work to be made express and the school too, to be able to meet the required quantity requested.
*Industrial Sewing Machine (1) = GHS 4,300.00 (10 GH$ = $1 USD)
*Knitting Machine (1) = GHS 5,000.00
*Dummy (2) = GHS 700.00
Total = $1,000 USD
The new machines will increase the number of clothing I sew in the week from 8 to 15 and that can increase my sales. For instance if I make 8 uniforms which is 480gh charges and with the new machine I make 15 pieces in the week that means am making extra 7 pieces that will give me 420 in addition and with the knitting too, the money I spent will be saved, the time I will spent waiting I can used to do another sew (because she currently has to rent time on a knitting machine or serger, which costs money and time). I will also rent the serger to others to get extra revenue. For instance, I pay 2gh per dress for knitting right now and 2×15=30gh, so i will save 30gh plus the time traveling to a rented serger and paying to use it. The additional sales and savings is shown in the forecast below.
