Blessed Hand Clothing (BHC) is a fashion brand specializing in the design and creation of unisex clothing with a particular focus on ladies’ fashion. With a commitment to meeting clients’ expectations and providing high-quality products, BHC aims to establish itself as a trusted and sought-after clothing brand.
BHC was founded by Priscilla Adjin, who embarked on a four-year apprenticeship before serving a mission. In 2020, upon returning, Priscilla joined a reputable fashion and design school, completing the program in 2021. Equipped with extensive knowledge and skills in fashion design, Priscilla established Blessed Hand Clothing to offer unique and tailored clothing options to clients.
BHC offers a diverse range of clothing items, including but not limited to kaba and slit, straight dresses, skirt and blouse sets, unisex shirts, shorts, pants, jam suits, scripture bags, ties, and many more. Our team of skilled designers and tailors ensures that each garment is meticulously crafted to meet the client’s expectations and provide complete satisfaction.
I currently sew for both individuals and for Jandera Fashion. If given a grant I will actively seek additional subcontracting opportunities to sew large quantities of clothing for clients.
Purpose For Funding
I am seeking funding through Entrapov’s Perpetual Entrepreneurship Fund to purchase:
Shop Acquisition: We plan to secure our own shop premises to enhance our professional image and attract new customers. This will involve covering expenses related to shop setup.
Display Dummies: Investing in two display dummies will allow us to showcase our dresses and attract attention from passersby. This visual merchandising strategy will draw potential customers into our shop and encourage them to explore our offerings.
Knitting and Eyelet Machine: Acquiring a knitting machine and an eyelet machine will enable us to expand our range of services and offer additional options to our clients. These machines will enhance our capabilities and provide opportunities for more intricate designs and customization.

APRIL Sales: Kaba & Slit (4), Straight dress (13), Shirt (7), Ties (25) Total Sales = 2,505 Ghc x 64% Margin = 1603 Ghc = $160 Profit
May Sales: Kaba & Slit 1, Straight dress 10, Shirt 5, Ties 15 Total Sales = 1,425 Ghc X 64% margin = 912 Ghc = $91 Profit
June Sales: Straight dress 16, Trousers 2, Ties 30, Shirt 3, Top and blouse 6, bag 1, Total Sales = 2,390 Ghc X 64% Margin = 1530 Ghc = $153 Profit
The new machines and shop space will allow Priscilla to eventually double her sales while expanding her profit margin. The income statement shown below is a conservative estimate of her increased productivity that comes from a faster machine that does higher quality work. Significant time savings is gained by having her own knitting machine (serger) for professional finishing work. Right now Priscilla has to rent time on a serger which is costly and requires travel, waiting, set up and take down.
