DESCRIBE YOUR BUSINESS:

Baccadis Hair and Styling, a thriving mobile salon with a loyal customer base of 78 regulars, predominantly working mobile and on services at the university campus of Garden City University, utilizing my skills to offer home and hostel delivery services, seeks a $1000 grant to expand its services and reach a wider clientele. This funding will be used to:

  1. Rent a Space in a University Annex: By establishing a presence on a university campus, Baccadis can tap into a large and dynamic student population, offering convenient and affordable hairdressing services.
  2. Purchase Essential Equipment and Materials: The grant will allow the salon to invest in high-quality hairdressing tools, styling products, and other necessary supplies to ensure efficient and stylish service delivery.

This expansion will not only increase the salon’s revenue but also contribute to the overall well-being and confidence of the university community. By providing accessible and professional hair care services, Baccadis aims to become the go-to salon for students and staff alike.

EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM.

Currently, the salon operates mobile, which restricts its ability to offer a diverse range of services and accommodate more customers. Additionally, the limited budget hinders the salon’s ability to invest in modern equipment, high-quality products, and staff training.

EXPLAIN YOUR SOLUTION.

To overcome these limitations, Baccadis seeks to expand its operations by renting a space in a university annex. This strategic move will provide the salon with a larger and more accessible location, allowing it to attract a new customer base of students and staff.

By securing the necessary funding, Baccadis can invest in essential equipment and materials, enabling its stylists to deliver top-notch services and enhance the overall customer experience. This expansion will not only boost the salon’s revenue but also contribute to the well-being and confidence of the university community.
